Résumé
This communication presented the findings of a descriptive study on the literacy instruction provided to 35 elementary students with ID who required AAC. The literacy skills of the students were assessed with a non-verbal assessment tool. The literacy lessons provided to these students were observed with a structured observation guide. Semi-structured interviews were also conducted with the teachers.
