This article explores how redefining health through the lenses of One Health, EcoHealth, and Planetary Health can enhance physical education (PE) by promoting both health and environmental sustainability. Traditonally, PE has focused on health educaton, with physical literacy as a core component. Recent UNESCO directves have emphasized integrating Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) into all subjects, including PE. The One Health approach highlights the interconnections between human, animal, and environmental health, broadening physical literacy to address zoonotic diseases and ecological impacts. EcoHealth emphasizes the sustainability of ecosystems, promo(ng PE activities that connect individuals to nature without harming the environment. Planetary Health focuses on the global scale, encouraging sustainable physical activities that minimize ecological footprints, such as cycling and walking. By incorporatng these holistc frameworks, physical literacy can move beyond individual health outcomes to foster environmental stewardship and global health consciousness. This shift aims to educate individuals not only about personal well-being but also about their role in maintaining the health of ecosystems and the planet, promo(ng a more sustainable and environmentally conscious generation through physical education.Nom de la manifestation
