How can we assess Lucas' text production skills? Considering his age, what are the obstacles he must overcome in order to write a letter to the mayor of his town, asking for improvements for children with physical disabilities? Except for spelling mistakes, what are his main writing problems? This book is an adaptation of the didactic proposals of Joaquim Dolz's team for the Brazilian context. The authors present a procedure for analyzing texts by students from Brazilian public schools. The book offers teaching activities for teachers, adapted to the most frequent learning difficulties found in the analyses.
