Résumé
Recognition that one’s discontent is shared, and that others have negotiated a similar change is
one of tenets of the TL Theory. Group membership offers a space for exploration of new roles
and planning a course of action. This paper explores multiple perceptions of individual
transformative learning experiences within self-selected support groups in light of NBI thinking
preferences. Implications for practice are, briefly, discussed
